Family Activities for Spring

Undoubtedly, Spring is an exciting time for families to explore the outdoors, enjoy traditions, and celebrate special moments together.

Easter Egg Hunt

Spring is synonymous with Easter, and nothing says “family fun” quite like an Easter egg hunt! Whether it’s in your backyard or a neighborhood event, hunting for colorful eggs is always a highlight for kids. As you mark Easter Sunday on your calendar, don’t forget to get all your Easter treats in early and make sure everyone is equipped with their own Easter baskets.
At Mine4Sure, we make Easter Egg hunts a personal affair! Your little egg hunters will love choosing their very own easter egg hunt basket personalised in their name.

Build up the excitement and plan a few extra activities in the run up to the long Easter week-end. You will find lots of fabulous activities ideas in our blog

Family Event with Personalized Wristbands

Spring is a season for special events, whether it’s a family reunion, a milestone celebration like an anniversary, or a birthday party. For family gatherings, personalised wrist bands can be a fun and memorable way to mark the occasion. They not only add a personal touch to the event but also make a little memory to keep: Guests or family members can wear them as mementos, keeping the spirit of the occasion alive long after the event is over.

Making the most of what nature has to offer

With Spring come a lot more choice in terms of fresh fruits and bring exciting colours to lunches and snacks.
Take the kids out for a little trip out to a “pick your own” place. April marks the start of the lovely British strawberries and rhubarb starts flourishing in our gardens.
No doubt the children will love eating the strawberries they picked, maybe leaving you enough so that you can make jam for their future snacks or to gift when they are invited at their friends.
Labelling jam jars with a personalised jam sticker makes it an extra special gift.

Daylight Saving Time Adjustment

Daylight saving time (DST) marks the shift to longer days, but it also means adjusting your clocks and schedules. For families with young children, the change in routine can sometimes be a challenge. Incorporating DST into your calendar is essential, as it ensures you’re prepared to adjust sleeping patterns, meal times, and activities.

Our little tip to overcome the change for the younger ones.
Early Bedtime Prep: The week before the time change, start shifting bedtime by 10–15 minutes each night to make the transition smoother.

While Daylight saving time can be a bit of a challenge, it also means that with it comes longer daylight hours! Meaning you’ll have more time for outdoor activities in the evening, such as family walks, bike rides, or playing in the park after dinner.
