Food and drinks

It is a fact, kids are often thirsty and hungry when travelling. Plan for healthy snacks, some drinks (ideally water and a few fruit juices, not too sweet) to keep everyone hydrated during the trip. Rather than carrying plastic bottles, favour taking your childrens personalised drinks bottles . So that you can refill them along the way if they are empty. When it comes to food, take along easy to eat, non messy food snacks like fruit sachets, dried fruits and biscuits.
Finally, add a plastic bag to use as bin bag for all your trash.

Spare clothes and toiletries

Accidents and spills can happen, especially if you are travelling with very little ones. And wet, upset littles ones can soon turn the mood of the trip into something no parents want to deal with. Taking a spare set of clothes is always a good idea. Pack one for each child, each in its own bag (it’s when your Tidy Bags come super handy 😉).
Plan to take wet wipes, a small bottle of water and a cloth to quickly wash the mess. Adding a small towel, a box of tissue, a roll of toilet paper and some hand sanitizer is always a good idea.

First aid kit and medicines

Carry with you a first aid kit, ideally in a closed pouch or ziplock bag, to deal with little health issues during the trip (a little cut, motion sickness…). Include some arnica gel, a saline solution, plasters and antiseptic wipes or solution. Why not add a tube of sun cream to have it always handy, if you stop along the way.

Travel packing list clothing

In addition to spare sets of clothes, having a hat, sunglasses and a waterproof coat is always a good idea.
Keep a set of essentials separate from your main luggage, especially when travelling by plane. Should your hold luggage become astray or lost during the journey, these spare clothes will come very handy while waiting for your suitcase to turn up.
Don’t forget your children’s favourite comforters and a little blanket.

Toys and downloads

Happy trips often rhymes with busy kids during the trip ☺️!
Bring their favourite small toys and books or new ones that will create a new interest. A playlist or some audio stories are great for quieter moments.
Don’t forget chargers and the appropriate cables. Our top tip! Identify them in your name or with the device they are related to so that they are quickly found, especially if you carry several devices with you. Our name stickers are just perfect for that purpose

Important Documents

Finally always carry in your hand luggage, important papers such as IDs, passports…

Keeping all of the above in a rucksack or in your baby bag is a great idea. You’ll know where to look and won’t have to rummage through various pieces of luggage.
keep this bag within easy reach to make things easier for you.
