This can be in the form of a drawing, movement or a pictorial story.<\/p>\n<p>At Mine4Sure, we&#8217;ve designed printable guided breathing animal cards to help your children get into these deep breathing exercises, in a fun and meaningful way. These adorable Mine4Sure characters, found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mine4sure.com\/personalised-water-bottle\">personalised water bottle kids<\/a> love, accompany the children step by step in their breathing exercises.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"179\" data-end=\"239\">\ud83d\udc49\ud83c\udffb How to use the guided deep breathing card?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"240\" data-end=\"436\">Each card features a visual path with arrows that indicate when to breathe in and out.<br \/>\nThe child places <strong>their finger on the starting point<\/strong> and slowly follows the arrows:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"437\" data-end=\"573\">\n<li data-start=\"437\" data-end=\"504\">\n<p data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"504\">Breathing in \u2192 <strong>take a deep breath in<\/strong> through the noise,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"573\">\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"573\">Breathing out \u2192 <strong data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"546\">exhale slowly <\/strong>through the mouth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"810\">Following the arrows with their finger acts as a cue, helping the child <strong>regulate their breathing to a regular rythm<\/strong>.<br \/>\nRepeating the exercise several times helps the child to gradually become <strong>calmer, more relaxed and more focused<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"810\"><strong>The breathing <\/strong>should be<strong> deep belly breaths, <\/strong>not shallow chest breaths. When they<strong> breathe in<\/strong>, their<strong> belly should expand<\/strong>, and when they<strong> breathe out<\/strong>, their<strong> belly should contract<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"812\" data-end=\"989\"><em>Top tip<\/em>: In order to make your cards last longer, we recommend to print your labels on thick-ish paper or to stick them on some card, but you can also use cardboard\u00a0\ud83d\ude09<br \/>\nDisplay them on the wall, so your child can see them easily and use them when need be.
